Well, the name Sir Doc was conceived about 17 years ago when the Managing Director Mr Okafor Onyebuchi M was still in secondary school. Those days, the young Master Buchi was known to be diligent committed to his studies. So the the teachers and fellow classmates presumed he would end up a medical doctor. In the beginning, he was referred to as 'DOC' but as time went on, 'SIR' was affixed to name which simply connotes that he would not only be a doctor but a respected one. In 2006, SCIENCE SCHOLAR ACADEMY was conceived and nurtured for good eight years till it was born in 2014. It wasn't actually easy to establish as nothing good comes easy. It was in 2015 that It came to limelight and became very significant in Enugu metropolis. In 2016, there was need to reignite and rekindle the glowing splinter 'SIR DOC' and the name seems to have gone viral because it would be difficult for a 5 year old child to say 'Science Scholars Academy' but even an 8 month old child can say "SIR DOC".
